Fans at Saturday's non-league test between the Amherst Central Tigers (Amherst, NY) and the visiting Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY), witnessed Amherst Central's lacrosse squad gain a win over Wayne by a count of 10-7.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY). The Billies enter the Class C test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Williamsville South nipped Iroquois (Elma, NY), 8-7, in a league test.
Next, the Eagles battle the Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes test, on Tuesday, May 13. Wayne will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Panthers enter the test with a 8-2 record after their 17-6 non-league win over Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY).
