New York High School Lacrosse - Voorheesville overwhelms Amsterdam

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Voorheesville Blackbirds lacrosse squad scored a good 19-9 triumph over the Amsterdam Rams.
The Blackbirds (12-1) will now prepare for their contest against Scotia-Glenville (Scotia, NY). The Tartans go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record.
Next, the Rams meet the Schuylerville Horses (Schuylerville, NY) in a Section 2 Foothills contest, on Tuesday, May 13. Amsterdam will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Horses go into the contest with a 12-1 record after their 11-10 league loss to South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).
