In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Trinity-Pawling School Pride lacrosse squad scored a tight 15-13 triumph over the Frederick Gunn Highlanders.

The Pride (4-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats go into the Western New England Division 1 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Hotchkiss School was edged by Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT), 18-9, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders clash with the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) in a Nepsac challenge, on Monday, May 12. Frederick Gunn will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Griffins go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 18-1 non-league loss to Phillips Academy (Andover, MA).
