In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Xenia Buccaneers lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-4 triumph over the Newark Wildcats.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, May 13. Newark will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Johnnies go into the contest with a 6-7 record after their 22-5 league loss to Jonathan Alder (Plain City, OH).
