In Saturday's non-league test, the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) lacrosse team edged the host Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), by a count of 15-14.
Next up, the Saxons battle the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a Mid Suburban test, on Monday, May 12. Schaumburg will attempt to move on its 12-4 season record. The Grenadiers enter the test with a 0-10 record after their 13-1 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL).
The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers enter the DuKane test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Glenbard North got by Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL), 14-8, in a non-league test.
