St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 9-6 in a non-league battle.

With the victory, St. Rita advances its record to 6-11 on the season. The Mustangs host Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL) to encounter the Bengals in a non-league battle on Monday, May 12. The Bengals come into the battle with a record of 10-5. Oak Forest lost 8-3 in their recent non-league battle against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL)

The Spartans now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Laurence for a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. St. Francis will face a Vikings squad coming off a 19-3 non-league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 2-10.
