In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Houston Hawks.
The Kardinals (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Homer (Homer, AK). The Mariners go into the Peninsula outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Homer by Soldotna (Soldotna, AK), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Hawks confront the Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) in a Northern Lights outing, on Thursday, May 15. Houston will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bears go into the outing with a 2-4 record after their 0-0 league Redington (Wasilla, AK).
