In Saturday's non-league match, the host Notre Dame Academy Tritons softball team scored a tight 13-7 win over the Algoma Wolves.
The Tritons (9-12) will now prepare for their match against Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI). The Ships come into the Fox River Classic match with a 7-12 record. In their last match, Manitowoc Lincoln was routed by Ashwaubenon (Green Bay, WI), 9-4, in a league match.
