The Antigo Red Robins overwhelmed the visiting Auburndale Apaches softball squad by a count of 13-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Red Robins meet the Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI) in a Great Northern challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Antigo will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Shawano Community (Shawano, WI).
The Apaches (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Edgar (Edgar, WI). The Wildcats go into the Marawood - South challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Edgar was routed by Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI), 12-11, in a non-league challenge.
