Covington Buccs (Covington, OH) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH), 7-5 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Covington upgrades its record to 15-8 on the year. The Buccs host Troy (Troy, OH) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 18-5. Troy won 9-8 in their recent league game against Tippecanoe (Tipp City, OH)

The Trojans now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Loramie for a non-league game on Saturday, May 10. Arcanum will play a Redskins squad coming off a 13-12 league win over Anna (Anna, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 10-11.
