The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Assumption Rockets (Louisville, KY) and the visiting West Washington Senators (Campbellsburg, IN), observed Assumption's softball team get by West Washington by a tally of 5-1.

The Rockets now sport a 24-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mercer County for a non-league outing on Monday, May 12. Assumption will encounter a Titans team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to North Laurel (London, KY). The Titans record now stands at 13-11.

With the loss, West Washington moves to 12-4 on the season. The Senators travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to encounter the Bluejackets in a Patoka Lake outing on Monday, May 12. The Bluejackets come into the outing with a record of 4-10. Mitchell lost 6-5 in their recent non-league outing against South Central (Elizabeth, IN)
