The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Pitman Panthers (Pitman, NJ) and the host Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ), observed Pitman's softball team get by Atlantic County Institute of Tech by a tally of 14-8.

The Panthers (8-7) will now prepare for their bout against Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ). The Eagles go into the Tri-County - Classic bout with a 17-3 record. In their last bout, Pennsville Memorial tipped Wildwood (Wildwood, NJ), 15-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the clash with the Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, May 10. Atlantic County Institute of Tech will attempt to advance on its 7-14 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ).
