The Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) softball routed the host Massac County Patriots (Metropolis, IL), 10-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Bombers now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickman County for a non-league outing on Monday, May 12. Ballard Memorial will encounter a Falcons team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to McCracken County (Paducah, KY). The Falcons record now stands at 14-8.
With the loss, Massac County moves to 7-15 on the season. The Patriots travel to Pope County (Golconda, IL) to encounter the Pirates in a non-league outing on Tuesday, May 13. The Pirates come into the outing with a record of 7-12. Pope County won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Dongola (Dongola, IL)
