The Cuba City Cubans softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Belmont Braves to 2 in the Cubans non-league win on Saturday.
The Cubans now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Boscobel for a SWAL battle on Monday, May 12. Cuba City will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 27-1 league loss to Fennimore (Fennimore, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-15.
With the loss, Belmont moves to 10-2 on the season. The Braves host River Valley (Spring Green, WI) to confront the Blackhawks in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. The Blackhawks come into the battle with a record of 7-11. River Valley lost 6-5 in their recent league battle against Richland Center (Richland Center, WI)
