The Big Rapids Cardinals softball squad (Big Rapids, MI), was routed 12-2 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI)
With the triumph, Sacred Heart Academy improves its record to 12-4 on the year. The Irish host Cedar Springs (Cedar Springs, MI) to face the Red Hawks in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. The Red Hawks enter the contest with a record of 4-5.
The Cardinals now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Grant for a Central State Activities Association-Gold contest on Monday, May 12. Big Rapids will face a Tigers squad coming off a 16-6 league win over Tri County Area (Howard City, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 18-6.
