The Lake Mills L-Cats softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Black River Falls Tigers to 4 in the L-Cats non-league win on Saturday.
The L-Cats now sport a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Portage for a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. Lake Mills will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 league win over Baraboo (Baraboo, WI). The Warriors record now stands at 15-5.
With the loss, Black River Falls moves to 1-22 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wisconsin Dells (Wisconsin Dells, WI) to confront the Chiefs in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 10. The Chiefs come into the battle with a record of 7-5. Wisconsin Dells lost 8-3 in their recent league battle against Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI)
