Bottineau Braves/Stars (Bottineau, ND) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Horace (Horace, ND), 1-0 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Bottineau improves its record to 9-1 on the year. The Braves/Stars travel to Divide County (Crosby, ND) to play the Maroons in a Class B - Region 3 game on Monday, May 12. The Maroons enter the game with a record of 0-4.
The now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Devils Lake for a Class A - East Region game on Thursday, May 15. Horace will play a Firebirds squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Red River (Grand Forks, ND). The Firebirds record now stands at 3-10.
