Ohio High School Softball - Champion bounces Canfield

May 10, 2025: Warren, OH 44483

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Champion Golden Flashes softball team scored a tight 9-2 win over the Canfield Cardinals.

The Golden Flashes (18-3) will now prepare for their match against Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 13-8 record. In their last match, Archbishop Hoban was routed by Green (Uniontown, OH), 5-3, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. Canfield will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 18-5 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Wickliffe (Wickliffe, OH).
