The Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) softball routed the visiting Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL), 10-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Little Giants now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunlap for a Mid-Illini outing on Tuesday, May 13. Canton will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 22-4.

With the loss, Normal West moves to 9-15 on the season. The Wildcats host Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to encounter the Maroons in a Big Twelve outing on Monday, May 12. The Maroons come into the outing with a record of 21-1. Champaign Central won 7-1 in their recent league outing against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL)
