Pennsylvania High School Softball - Cochranton bounces Mercyhurst Prep

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Cochranton Cardinals softball team scored a nice 24-3 victory over the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers.
The Cardinals (14-1) will now prepare for their match against Cambridge Springs (Cambridge Springs, PA). The Devils go into the District 10 Region 2 match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Cambridge Springs gained a win over Saegertown (Saegertown, PA), 1-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Union City Bears (Union City, PA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, May 13. Mercyhurst Prep will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Bears go into the match with a 11-4 record after their 11-0 league win over Eisenhower (Russell, PA).
