The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Triad Knights (Troy, IL) and the visiting Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL), observed Triad's softball team get by Columbia by a tally of 3-1.

The Knights (16-6) will now prepare for their bout against Belleville West (Belleville, IL). The Maroons go into the non-league bout with a 10-11 record. In their last bout, Belleville West by Freeburg (Freeburg, IL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Edwardsville Tigers (Edwardsville, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Columbia will attempt to advance on its 19-4 season record.
