The Cranford Cougars overwhelmed the visiting New Providence Pioneers softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) in a UCC - Watchung challenge, on Tuesday, May 13. Cranford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Highlanders go into the challenge with a 12-6 record after their 18-1 non-league win over Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ).
The Pioneers (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount St. Mary Academy (Watchung, NJ). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record.
