The Eden Prairie Eagles overwhelmed the host Eastview Lightning softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Hopkins Royals (Minnetonka, MN) in a Lake challenge, on Monday, May 12. Eden Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
The Lightning (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish come into the South Suburban Conference match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Rosemount notched a victory over Eagan (Eagan, MN), 3-2, in a league match.
