Indiana High School Softball - Jay County bounces Elwood

May 10, 2025: Elwood, IN 46036

The Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) softball routed the host Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN), 15-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern Wells for a Allen County outing on Tuesday, May 13. Jay County will encounter a Raiders team coming off a 14-0 league loss to South Adams (Berne, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 1-16.

With the loss, Elwood moves to 6-12 on the season. The Panthers host Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN) to encounter the Tigers in a Central Indiana outing on Tuesday, May 13. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 12-1. Alexandria-Monroe won 4-0 in their recent league outing against Frankton (Frankton, IN)
