In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics softball team scored a nice 21-11 win over the Evergreen Park Mustangs.
The Celtics (16-9) will now prepare for their match against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league match with a 13-10 record. In their last match, Downers Grove North notched a victory over Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL), 10-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban match, on Tuesday, May 13. Evergreen Park will attempt to better on its 12-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 17-9 record after their 5-2 league win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL).
