New Jersey High School Softball - Governor Livingston bounces Union Catholic

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) and the host Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ), observed Governor Livingston's softball team prevail over Union Catholic by a tally of 18-1.
The Highlanders (12-6) will now prepare for their bout against Cranford (Cranford, NJ). The Cougars go into the UCC - Watchung bout with a 10-10 record. In their last bout, Cranford knocked off New Providence (New Providence, NJ), 11-1, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Columbia Cougars (Maplewood, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, May 13. Union Catholic will attempt to advance on its 4-12 season record.
