Indiana High School Softball - Southwood drops to Hilltop

May 10, 2025: Wabash, IN 46992

The Southwood Knights softball squad (Wabash, IN), was routed 14-4 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH)

With the triumph, Hilltop improves its record to 23-3 on the year. The Cadets travel to Fremont (Fremont, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Saturday, May 10. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 7-7. Fremont lost 5-3 in their recent league contest against Fairfield (Goshen, IN)

The Knights now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to Maconaquah for a Three Rivers contest on Monday, May 12. Southwood will face a Braves squad coming off a 16-6 non-league loss to Winamac (Winamac, IN). The Braves record now stands at 3-11.
