In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Jacksonville Crimsons softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the North Greene Spartans.

The Crimsons (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Carlinville (Carlinville, IL). The Cavaliers go into the non-league match with a 13-9 record. In their last match, Carlinville gained a win over Southwestern (Piasa, IL), 4-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Barry Western Wildcats (Barry, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 12. North Greene will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 9-12 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL).
