New York High School Softball - Kingston sneaks past Saugerties

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Kingston Tigers softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the Saugerties Sawyers.
The Tigers (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY). The Crusaders come into the Orange County Division I match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Monroe-Woodbury was nipped by Kingston (Kingston, NY), 9-5, in a league match.
In their next game, the Sawyers confront the Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY) in a Mid Hudson Athletic match, on Monday, May 12. Saugerties will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 7-6 record after their 7-6 league loss to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY).
