The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), observed Lake Park's softball team get by Prospect by a tally of 6-0.

The Lancers (16-5) will now prepare for their bout against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Fighting Saints go into the DuKane bout with a 16-12 record. In their last bout, St. Charles East tipped Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL) in a Mid-Suburban East bout, on Monday, May 12. Prospect will attempt to advance on its 19-7 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Vernon Hills (Vernon Hills, IL).
