New Mexico High School Softball - Lovington edges Los Alamos

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) and the visiting Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM), observed Lovington's softball team get by Los Alamos by a tally of 3-1.
The Wildcats (20-8) will now prepare for their bout against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 21-7 record. In their last bout, Artesia tipped Belen (Belen, NM), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Hilltoppers clash with the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. Los Alamos will attempt to advance on its 19-6 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 15-13 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Artesia (Artesia, NM).
