Kentucky High School Softball - Union County drops to Male

The Union County Braves softball squad (Morganfield, KY), was routed 16-5 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Male Bulldogs (Louisville, KY)
With the triumph, Male improves its record to 22-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) to face the Warhawks in a non-league contest on Monday, May 12. The Warhawks enter the contest with a record of 11-9.
The Braves now hold a 17-13 record. They play next when they host Henderson County for a District 6 contest on Monday, May 12. Union County will face a Colonels squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Boyd County (Ashland, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 27-4.
