Kentucky High School Softball - Meade County knocked off by South Warren

The South Warren Spartans overwhelmed the host Meade County Green Waves softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots (Scottsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 12. South Warren will attempt to upgrade on its 26-3 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 26-4 record after their 13-2 non-league loss to Oldham County (Buckner, KY).

The Green Waves (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern (Louisville, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 16-14 record. In their last challenge, Eastern was routed by Greenup County (Greenup, KY), 12-0, in a non-league challenge.
