The St. Anthony's Friars the host Miller Place Panthers softball squad by a count of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Friars meet the East Islip Redmen (Islip Terrace, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 12. St. Anthony's will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Redmen go into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY).
The Panthers (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kings Park (Kings Park, NY). The Kingsmen go into the Section 11 A-6 challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Kings Park held off Islip (Islip, NY), 15-7, in a league challenge.
