Illinois High School Softball - Murphysboro gets by O'Fallon

May 10, 2025: O'Fallon, IL 62269

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Murphysboro Red Devils (Murphysboro, IL) and the host O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL), observed Murphysboro's softball team get by O'Fallon by a tally of 6-5.

The Red Devils (7-18) will now prepare for their bout against DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Indians go into the non-league bout with a 4-19 record. In their last bout, DuQuoin tipped Herrin (Herrin, IL), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Red Bud Musketeers (Red Bud, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. O'Fallon will attempt to advance on its 10-14 season record. The Musketeers go into the bout with a 20-7 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL).
