The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ) and the visiting Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ), observed Ridgefield Park's softball team get by Northern Highlands by a tally of 1-0.
The Scarlets (17-1) will now prepare for their bout against Indian Hills (Oakland, NJ). The Braves go into the non-league bout with a 9-8 record. In their last bout, Indian Hills was nipped by Rutherford (Rutherford, NJ), 10-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Westwood Cardinals (Washington Township, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 12. Northern Highlands will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 9-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ).
