In Wednesday's non-league game, the host St. Xavier Bombers baseball team scored a tight 17-13 victory over the Bishop Fenwick Falcons.
The Bombers (12-10) will now prepare for their game against Milford (Milford, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 14-8 record. In their last game, Milford was overwhelmed by Anderson (Cincinnati, OH), 4-3, in a league game.
The Falcons (8-9) will now prepare for their contest against Talawanda (Oxford, OH). The Braves come into the non-league contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Talawanda got by Lakota West (West Chester, OH), 12-9, in a non-league contest.
