In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Edwards County Lions baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Cisne Runnin' Lions.
The Lions (8-13) will now prepare for their game against Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel, IL). The Golden Aces go into the non-league game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Mt. Carmel was overwhelmed by Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL), 20-5, in a non-league game.
The Runnin' Lions (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Fairfield (Fairfield, IL). The Mules go into the non-league game with a 15-10 record. In their last game, Fairfield overcame Flora (Flora, IL), 8-2, in a league game.
