In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Conneaut Spartans baseball team scored a nice 13-2 victory over the Harvey Red Raiders.
The Spartans (5-9) will now prepare for their game against Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA). The go into the District 10 Region 1 game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Kennedy Catholic was overwhelmed by Lakeview (Stoneboro, PA), 10-8, in a league game.
The Red Raiders (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Madison (Madison, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league game with a 3-15 record. In their last game, Madison was overwhelmed by Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH), 7-3, in a non-league game.
