The Heritage Patriots baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Fort Wayne Wayne Generals to 4 in the Patriots non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Patriots (19-1) will now prepare for their match against Jay County (Portland, IN). The Patriots go into the Allen County match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Jay County was overwhelmed by Bluffton (Bluffton, IN), 8-6, in a league match.
The Generals (2-16) will now prepare for their match against Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN). The Saints go into the Summit match with a 13-4 record. In their last match, Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger ran past Garrett (Garrett, IN), 5-0, in a non-league match.
