In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Freedom Eagles baseball team scored a tight 4-2 victory over the Independence .
The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Battlefield (Haymarket, VA). The Bobcats go into the Cedar Run game with a 18-2 record. In their last game, Battlefield tipped Patriot (Nokesville, VA), 6-5, in a league game.
The (14-4) will now prepare for their game against Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Wolverines go into the Potomac game with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Woodgrove by Heritage (Leesburg, VA), 6-0, in a non-league contest.
