The Pomperaug Panthers baseball team (Southbury, CT), was overwhelmed 6-1 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Masuk Panthers (Monroe, CT)
The Panthers now hold a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ludlowe for a non-league outing on Thursday, May 12. Masuk will confront a Falcons team coming off a 10-6 league loss to Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Panthers confront the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) in a Southwest - Colonial outing, on Friday, May 13. Pomperaug will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 7-11 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Joel Barlow (Redding, CT).
