Connecticut High School Volleyball - Xavier over Oxford

The Xavier Falcons (Middletown, CT) volleyball overcame the visiting Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT), 3-1 in Wednesday's league outing.

With the win, Xavier upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Falcons travel to Masuk (Monroe, CT) to face the Panthers in a South-West outing on Monday, May 16. The Panthers go into the outing with a record of 11-7. Masuk won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT)

The Wolverines now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Newtown for a South-West outing on Friday, May 13. Oxford will face a Nighthawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 11-5.
