In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Ross Little Giants (Fremont, OH), by a margin of 11-1.
With the triumph, Ashland moves its record to 17-2 on the year. The Arrows travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, OH) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league test on Friday, May 13. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Little Giants (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH). The Stockaders come into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Old Fort was routed by Hopewell-Loudon (Bascom, OH), 6-4, in a league test.
