Avon Grove Red Devils (West Grove, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), 14-2 in a league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Downingtown East for a Ches-Mont match on Thursday, May 12. Avon Grove will face a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Sun Valley (Aston, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Great Valley moves to 1-10 on the season. The Patriots host Oxford (Oxford, PA) to face the Hornets in a Ches-Mont match on Friday, May 13. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 9-8. Oxford lost 6-2 in their recent league match against Coatesville (Coatesville, PA)
