Maine High School Softball - Buckfield bounces Mountain Valley

The Buckfield Bucks routed the visiting Mountain Valley Falcons softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Bucks (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Abram (Strong, ME). The Roadrunners go into the non-league battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Mount Abram was routed by Monmouth Academy (Monmouth, ME), 16-5, in a league battle.
The Falcons now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Telstar for a Class C South battle on Monday, May 16. Mountain Valley will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Madison (Madison, ME). The Rebels record now stands at 5-5.
