The Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) softball the visiting Hudson Explorers (Hudson, OH), 7-5 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Hilltoppers (13-8) will now prepare for their bout against Madison (Madison, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the Western Reserve bout with a 4-16 record. In their last bout, Madison by North (Eastlake, OH), 24-4, in a league bout.
