Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Jeffersonville Red Devils (Jeffersonville, IN) and the host Columbus East Olympians (Columbus, IN), witnessed Jeffersonville's softball squad prevail over Columbus East by a count of 12-2.

The Red Devils now sport a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to New Albany for a Hoosier Hills match on Thursday, May 12. Jeffersonville will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Columbus East moves to 6-14 on the season. The Olympians travel to Greenfield-Central (Greenfield, IN) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Saturday, May 14. The Cougars go into the match with a record of 11-5. Greenfield-Central won 22-11 in their recent non-league match against Lawrence Central (Indianapolis, IN)
