In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) softball team the visiting Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM), by a margin of 10-7.

With the triumph, Jal moves its record to 11-10 on the year. The Panthers travel to Tularosa (Tularosa, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 12.
