The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Oakman Wildcats (Oakman, AL) and the host Lauderdale County Tigers (Rogersville, AL), saw Oakman's softball squad nip Lauderdale County by a count of 3-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 23-11 record.
With the loss, Lauderdale County falls to 27-22 on the campaign. The Tigers host Carbon Hill (Carbon Hill, AL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 11. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 35-15. Carbon Hill lost 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Lauderdale County (Rogersville, AL)
